Notice for Commencement

Western is excited to announce that it is planning an in-person commencement ceremony for Fall Commencement on December 11, 2021. This event is open to all summer and fall 2021 graduates. While the return is exciting, Western continues to monitor the changing pandemic conditions and operate with an abundance of caution. For that reason, there are contingency plans in place and changes should be expected throughout the quarter. Information will be updated on this website and emailed to all eligible students.

Student Information

Congratulations, you are ready to graduate! The first step to graduation is submitting a degree application to the Registrar's Office. Once you have done that you need to make a commencement reservation if you plan to attend. Making a reservation to attend is free and all students are required to wear a cap & gown appropriate to the degree earned. You can click on the links below to find detailed information.

Reservations are required to attend commencement. Reservation Priority deadline is Sunday, November 7.
