School Withdrawal Checklist

If you are registered for classes, you must withdraw from your classes. Students are responsible for payment of tuition and fees if they fail to withdraw from classes. The Tuition and Fees Calendar provides current term deadlines.

If withdrawing during the first five days of the term, courses must be dropped by the student in Web4U. Review your schedule summary to verify that your classes have been removed. Visit the Register for Classes page if you have questions about how to drop classes.

If withdrawing after the fifth day of the term, you must complete a School Withdrawal form to remove all courses. This form is not necessary if you've dropped all courses within the first week of the term.

If you are receiving federal or state financial aid, please contact Financial Aid. If you are receiving scholarships, VA Benefits, or any other funding, please reach out to those offices individually.

Review your account billing on your Western Account Online after completing your withdrawal. Verify that you do not have outstanding library or parking fines, medical charges, or other non-tuition related charges.

 

Notify University Residences if you currently reside in or are scheduled to live in on-campus housing. Notify Dining Services if you have signed up for a meal plan for the upcoming quarter.
