Commencement Reservations

If you plan to participate in the June virtual event, please make a RESERVATION. Reservations can only be made by eligible students, for questions about logging onto the site, please email

Making a reservation will ensure that a student's name is read during the ceremony and that they have the opportunity to be highlighted in the ceremony.

Graduation Cap & Gown

Before ordering a cap, gown, tassel, and/or graduation hood (for master's and doctorate candidates), graduating students should first make a commencement reservation to ensure their participation in our event.

After a reservation is made, a student can order apparel and graduation items through the Alumni Association.

Gifts for Grads

The A.S Bookstore has diploma frames and other Western gear to celebrate graduates.

A local Bellingham flower company, Pozie by Natalie, offers custom graduation flower arrangements as a gift for graduates located in Bellingham.

In-Person Invitations for Graduates with Virtual Events

All graduates who experienced postponed or virtual events have been invited back to campus when we resume in-person ceremonies. An opportunity to walk in a ceremony on campus will be available when we know it is once again safe to hold large in-person events. We will contact graduates through their external email on file when we have options available. We will also post information on our commencement website so please continue to check back. At this time we are unable to predict when we can offer in-person ceremonies again.
