June Commencement

Fri, Jun 9–Sun, Jun 11, 2023 

To be eligible to participate in the June ceremony, a student must have graduated winter quarter 2023 or have completed the graduation application for Spring 2023 or Summer 2023 no later than May 5 and reached pending status. Graduates who will be completing degrees from more than one college will have the opportunity to pick which college ceremony they will attend.

Your college is determined by your major. If you do not know your college, please find the list of majors here. If you have more than one major, or degree, from different colleges, please find information about your options on the commencement eligibility page.

Masters and doctorate candidates from the Graduate School will be hooded in the ceremony associated with the college their degree is listed under in the Programs of Study section of the online catalog.

Ceremony Information

Students eligible for June Commencement have been invited to submit a reservation. Invitations were first sent the week of March 6 and invitations for newly eligible students will be sent each Monday. If a graduate requires accommodation for religious observance, they should complete the reservation form and then email the graduation team at Commencement@wwu.edu.
