Western has decided to move forward with Spring 2021 having approximately the same levels of face-to-face instruction and campus residency as Fall 2020 and Winter 2021. The approved recommendation is that the University adopt the same approach to class modality in Spring 2021 as it adopted for the Fall 2020 and Winter 2021 quarters, with the majority of classes taking place remotely and only research and experiential classes on site.
Phase I registration for continuing students will begin on Tuesday, February 23rd.
All Spring Quarter 2021 classes will start on March 30, our originally scheduled start date. Those select classes cleared to move forward under face-to-face or hybrid delivery will not meet in person until April 5, after remote instruction for the first few days of the term.
Registration for each quarter is conducted in three phases using Web4U.
It is necessary that students log in to myWestern using their Universal login for registration.
Registration policies derive from the University Catalog. By reviewing WWU’s registration policies students can find out more information regarding student responsibilities, academic standing, course information, registration conflicts, and more.
Registration waitlisting is available for undergraduate courses for all quarters. Waitlisting allows students to get in a queue for available seats once a class becomes full.
Students are responsible for completing their own registration each quarter.
The student must complete the process via Web4u.
Individuals wanting to take courses at WWU without pursuing a degree or certification may enroll during the fall/winter/spring quarters by filling out the Special Student Enrollment Form.
Students planning their course schedule can find helpful information for course scheduling, class times, and other useful links through registration resources.
